Founded by Black women who see the value of cross-cultural exchange between Ghana and United States, Ofiebaako invites the diaspora to engage deeply with history and shared values while reflecting on the deep rooted connection between both sides of the Atlantic.

Ofiebaako means one home.

We offer a once in a lifetime experience to retrace ancestry through the history and geography of the migration of African people from Cape Coast to the Charleston coast. Our guides will lead our sojourners from Charleston, South Carolina to Ghana where they will tour various cities and communities to learn about the culture, food, history and the impact of the transatlantic slave trade.

Ofiebaako is about journeying home into the past, reflecting on the present and manifesting the future.
